Shawn V Giammattei, PhD
Shawn V. Giammattei, PhD is a clinical psychologist & WPATH certified member/mentor, specializing in couple & family therapy with a particular focus on trans youth and their families. He is the founder & CEO of the Gender Health Training Institute & TransFamily Alliance, a research consultant, international speaker, community educator, and professor teaching graduate and post-graduate courses in LGBTQ psychology, family systems, and gender affirming care, as well as the author of several articles and book chapters on gender, sexuality, and family work.

Skye T. Apriletti, AMFT
Skye (they/them) is a registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist supervised by Jill Rees, PhD. They provide gender affirming and neurodivergent affirming therapy for youth, adults, partners and families. Skye has 10+ years of experience working with young people in school-based health centers.
Skye received their Master's in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. They were trained in gender affirming therapy at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland.
Skye is trans non-binary, queer and Irish American. They have a unique understanding of some of the joys and challenges that come with these identities. Skye provides a welcoming and expansive space for youth, adults, families and partners to explore and express their personal and cultural identities.
Skye is honored to work with LGBTQIA2SP+ youth, adults, partners and families. They welcome clients navigating gender journeys, neurodivergence, historical and systemic oppression, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, conflict and relationships. Skye works collaboratively with clients to strengthen hope, resilience and joy.
