When The State Wants Our Silence, Pride Is Our Song
They tried to silence us with bills, bans, and bullets.
But we are not silence.
We are thunder.
We are song.
We are still here
Things change quickly—and to be honest, I never thought the regression in human rights we’re experiencing now was possible. Maybe you feel the same. Their attempt is so cynical that they’re trying to erase centuries of our victories with a single signature… But it’s not going to happen.
They try to legislate our absence, but here’s something profound:
They exist as a reaction; we exist from origin.
We’re playing the long game—not them. And even in fear, we remain.
I know the fatigue of always being a matter of debate and controversy—when we’re just minding our business, not hurting anyone. And you’re right if you say, “Hey, I’m not a theory. I don’t need to explain myself!”
Here, it’s useful to remember what Dr. Viktor Frankl said about our power to choose our response:
“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. And in our response lies our growth and freedom.”
We must be careful with our reaction, because exhaustion can lead to paralysis. But that’s what they want—to wear us down, to convince us that fighting back is useless.
But it’s not.
LGBTIQ+ people make up a powerful portion of the population. If we stay in the fight and organize our actions in a unified direction, we’re unstoppable.
They thought we couldn’t organize—but they’re wrong. Many of us are already pushing back. For example, people are choosing not to support businesses that threw trans people under the bus by removing their DEI policies. I’m not naming names here, but you know who they are. (Wink!)
Think about the depth and sacredness of our fight:
- It’s as old as humankind—not a whim, not the invention of opportunists.
- It’s rooted in self-knowledge and honesty—becoming an expert on yourself takes courage.
- It harms no one. It’s not about “turning” people trans—it’s about demanding respect for individuality. And isn’t it wild? You’re not hurting anyone, yet they hate you. Why? Because…
- It’s based on freedom. And a free person is a mirror—showing others that they aren’t free. That scares them more than anything.
- It breaks fake social roles that exist only to control. You shattered the mold, and now the system is exposed. People see in you a reminder of their own fear to express themselves.
- We come from a long line of queercestors who’ve changed the world. Like Alan Turing, who helped end WWII by breaking Nazi codes—only to be chemically castrated for being gay, leading to his suicide. They may forget. But we don’t. We carry their legacy with honor.
Every time you breathe without apology, you undo centuries of shame.
Our fight is sacred.
Our existence is not a flaw—it’s part of nature’s infinite diversity.
The journey to live as your true self, despite resistance, is a rite of passage—a sacred initiation for those destined to be messengers of truth and change.
In a society that tries to blur the line between truth and lies, embodying authenticity becomes a mission—not just personal, but collective.
We are planting the seeds for future generations—to show them that a flower can grow through concrete, that evil can be overcome.
We’re not asking for permission. We’re claiming space. We’re making sure the future is free of fascism, discrimination, and violence.
That’s why PRIDE 2025 is HUGE.
It’s more than celebration—it’s resistance through joy. A radical declaration of love, freedom, and resilience.
🌈 Our existence is the existence of love. 🌈
BE SAFE, BE HAPPY, AND HAVE FUN!
